About EA1 Agile
EA1 Agile is a project management consultancy
Founded by Mark Ayto, a Chartered Project Manager, Chartered Builder, and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building.
Mark began his career as a bricklayer in the Northeast of England constructing houses. After contracting in London and Gibraltar, he moved to Germany, where he established a successful brickwork subcontracting business as a limited company. His projects included schools, colleges, commercial buildings, residential developments, and factories.
After returning to the UK, Mark joined Laing O’Rourke, who sponsored him to complete an HND in Construction Management and a degree in Project Management at Edinburgh Napier University. He became a Chartered Builder, a Fellow of the CIOB, and a Chartered Project Manager, successfully managing an award-winning project in Edinburgh, including student accommodation, a city centre brownfield development, and two World Heritage Sites.
Mark transitioned to client-side roles, including a key infrastructure project in Edinburgh and three years at Edinburgh Airport, where he managed a programme involving twenty-five project managers, training their consultants and principal contractors to follow a system that Mark had developed inside the Governance of the Edinburgh Airport. It was during this time that Mark met Suboor Mohammed, an IT and Microsoft 365 specialist. The concept for EA1 was conceived here, as Mark and Suboor recognised that SharePoint was effectively managing seventy projects for the airport.
Suboor is a Microsoft 365 Specialist, providing expert guidance in the strategic planning and implementation of secure IT systems, applications, and infrastructure. With over 20 years of experience in the corporate sector, he has successfully partnered with more than forty enterprises, delivering projects from pre-sales to final delivery. Suboor’s focus is on enhancing business processes and driving efficiency.
Together, Mark and Suboor founded the EA1 system. Mark strategically maps out projects for clients, while Suboor programs SharePoint to mirror the exact needs of the project. This collaboration creates the ultimate “Golden Thread,” ensuring seamless alignment and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
